The uncharted calls to me
The untouched–that without tarnish
Fields of green sway to a universal pulse
Why must my soul be drawn to a shaded path?
To a woodland stream meandering through ancient arteries?
Here I am but a witness to the divine
I close my eyes to the light and listen
I hear what is unsaid–is unspoken–what is already known
An indescribable peace fills my Earthly form
And for just a moment I am one of them…
Rooted to the soil, nourished by the rains, and reaching towards the heavens
-Adam K.
This is absolutely beautiful. Exquisite poetyes. I’d love to read more.
